A Master's Thesis project to satisfy my degree at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UCSB. This report focused on a financial model assessing whether managed retreat would be feasible in different locations across California, and a qualitative analysis examining the factors influencing its success. This was a group project with other authors named in the report.
